Tom was over this weekend and helped do a mini remodel of the pantry off the back deck.
Before it was this crappy cardboard like wall board that they put in such things probably back in the 1950’s. Basically if you leaned too hard on the wall you would have a hole in no time. That coupled with the fact that there is about two and a half 2×4’s in the whole thing made it really interesting.
We decided to wrap it all in paintable paneling. 5 sheets later and the most inexpensive molding we could find and it was done in 3 hours.
In steps Daniel and probably 8 tubes of chaulking and some left over white paint. It looks great for a little crappy pantry. We are just amazed how it transformed it.
Not that interesting but it is the real last project on the house before we sell. Next is carpet cleaning, touch up of the paint in the master closet, and then just simple staging.
The real estate agents that we have been talking to all came up with the same price for the house. It looks like $239,000. I think that we are all happy with that price. Of course everyone in the world want more but it is a good place to start. We even had a very interested buyer at the house twice yestarday. Mr Beautiful Eyes and his girlfriend seemed to really like the house even before it was on the market. That even in the messy state that it is in. Johnny and Daniel had emptied the attic and been packing up lots of stuff, so stuff was everywhere.
Here is a picture of the new and improved pantry.

Later ya’all
